Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Design from the College of Architecture at the University of Florida and later obtained his Masters in Architecture at the University of Puerto Rico. In 2005 he moved to Miami and won the student category in Hospitality Design Magazine’s 1st Annual Design Awards for his thesis project, and was later featured in the cover of the December issue. Michael has worked on a wide variety of projects both nationally and internationally that range from single family housing, multi-family housing, high-rise residential, office, master planning, museums, retail, and hospitality design including hotel design, restaurant design, nightclub design and sustainable architecture. Michael joined FFD in 2010 and has contributed in the completion on various projects including Kane Steakhouse, Villa Azur Restaurant, Olives Restaurant by Todd English, Story Nightclub and the Sunrise Lobby in the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. He places great emphasis on design presentations and quality control management for submittals. He is a LEED accredited professional from the United States Green Building Council and is an Associate member in Miami’s Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture. In his spare time Michael enjoys participating in Triathlons and enjoys the outdoor with his wife and two children.
